If you are an avid Laneige fan, you would be familiar with their cult favourite Two-Tone Lip Bar that creates the perfect gradient lips. This year, Laneige dropped an even better sister, the Two-Tone TINT Lip Bar. A combination of colour & balm, it comes with an all new cross section and is available in 8 yummy shades.
Being an advocate for their Lip Sleeping Mask, I am extremely pleased to find out that the balm portion of the Two-Tone Tint Lip Bar had the same ingredients and technology! Goodbye dry chapped lips, this new lippie got your back!
Aside from the amazing formula, the new Two-Tone Tint Lip Bar comes with an all new V cross section that is specially designed to create the perfect tint gradation on the inner portion of your lips. Perplexed as to how this V cut could create a gradient lip, I was pleasantly surprised by how much better it performed compared to the original slant cut.
The Two-Tone Tint Lip Bar even comes with a tinting function that changes according to the pH level of the lips. That means longer lasting colour without the nasty blotchiness after eating. Pretty amazing huh?
Above are swatches of 4/8 shades in the range. My favourite has got to be Cherry Milk. Ya know your home girl can never do without a dark lippie! Was pleasantly surprised that Laneige brought out such a vampy shade because Korean makeup tend to stray away from darker shades like this. Kudos to you Laneige for always breaking boundaries!
Overall, I really do enjoy the new launch of the Two-Tone Tint Lip Bar brought out by Laneige. It is an innovative and creative take on the balm & lipstick fusion. Absolutely love the vibrant balm shades that goes on clear.
A little thing to note, I did notice that the tint portion is much softer and a lot more pigmented compared to the original Two-Tone Lip Bar. Needless to say, my carpet is no longer white all thanks to the klutz in me.
