Styling is something that is extremely personal. What I love about fashion is how versatile it is. You can easily switch up a look just by adding a couple of touches to change the vibes of your outfit. Today, with a budget of $100, I will be showing you how I create three looks with 4 pieces of clothing from one of the most versatile online web-store, Pepperkoko.

Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world. Being a shoeholic with a particular soft spot for beautiful high heels, I own at least 50 pairs just to get me covered from daily activities to fancy events. As I am really petite, I always love a good pair of heels to elongate my legs and make me look taller. For all you ladies out there who are frequent heels wearer, you would be familiar with this. The higher they are, the worst the feel throughout the day. Who's with me? Heels are wonderful creations, not only do they complete your look, they also provide a boost in confidence for you to conquer your day. However, the pain and discomfort from prolonged wear is just too much to handle on a daily basis. Thankfully, with OSIM's introduction of their newest leg massager, uStiletto, all our woes about heels can finally be cast out of the window!

7 Wallich Street #01-02, Tanjong Pagar Centre Singapore 078884 Operating Hours Mon-Fri: 11am-10pm Sat: 10am-10pm Sunday: 10:30am-9pm Hello back from Singapore! It's been awhile since I had the time to sit down and pen my thoughts. Time is flying insanely fast and we're already in March. I literally have no idea how or what happened in the past two months. I guess this all boils down to being too busy and overwhelmed at work. Haha, who's with me?
Well, I know many of you are curious about my job since I am constantly traveling. I would love to tell you something cool like a ninja or a spy but I am just a plain ol' designer, selling my life to the fashion industry. My friends would always joke that they have to book an appointment a month before just to grab dinner with me. Yup, the life of a designer is not that glamorous after all. All the blings and glam is just a facade of a severely exploited industry. Nonetheless, things have been going pretty well for me. There are ups and downs but I am always thankful for the people that I get to meet along the way. I hope 2017 has been great to you so far. Mine had a pretty exciting start which you'll get to read all about it in this post. Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate The Club's first anniversary & launch of their new dining concept, The Disgruntled Brasserie. Housed in a 19th century colonial building that is nestled in the hip area of Ann Siang, The Club is a luxury boutique hotel that features 20 luxurious rooms, inclusive of two of the most stunning suites to unwind in. We were first ushered into the lobby called Mr & Mrs Maxwell's (how cute!) for some drinks to catch up among ourselves before the event started. Mr & Mrs Maxwell's, specially decorated to resemble a cosy living room, is the perfect place for us to hang out after a long day. I honestly could not even get myself to leave the comfy sofa that was situated in the corner of the room! (also partly because I was in heels ;P) The theme for the anniversary party of The Club was Golden Gatsby which explains all the fancy furnishings and exquisite ornaments. We had a sumptuous dinner that was served at the newly launched Disgruntled Brasserie, which is a casual take on its predecessor, The Disgruntled Chef. The Disgruntled Brasserie has a more relaxed environment, furnished with warm lights, luxurious wood tables and comfy sofas. I personally enjoyed the photo wall that is a reminiscent of The Club's iconic heritage as it feature pictures of local hawkers and street traders in the olden times. Kicked off with an awesome plate of Canapés (less atas description: appetisers, starters. You're welcome!). My favourite, surprisingly, was the Duck & Chicken Liver Parfait. Ate this without knowing what it was because I was too hungry to read the menu and it was one of the best things I have ever tasted! If I knew it was liver, I would probably not eat it but now I am hooked! It has a sweet aftertaste to it which reminds of me desserts. And I LOVE DESSERTS. The other canapés are equally tasty as well. Would definitely recommend getting their canapés for a start especially if you are having business meetings. You get to fill your tummy with delectable food without the hassle of any unglamorous moments of stuffing a burger in your mouth. ;) For mains, we had the BEST Baked Miso Cod & a very hearty Foie Gras Beef Burger. I am swooning over the Baked Miso Cod as it is such a perfect blend of flavours. Perfectly timed, the cod was piping hot with the meat still soft and tender. It was accompanied by some pickled daikon to tickle your tastebuds and mushy peas to wrap everything up. One word, perfect. This cod is so good that I am actually planning a birthday dinner for my mom because she needs to try it, in fact, everyone needs to try it. Haha having a serious fish obsession now, I shall stop. The Foie Gras Beef Burger is really special as the Foie Gras is actually in the middle of the beef patty! How cool is that? The burger tastes amazing as well. The beef patty was extremely juicy and the having the foie gras enveloped in the middle is probably one of the most indulgent experience. Sorry no pictures for desserts cuz' I literally devoured the Lemon Tart without even thinking. I know.... food makes me go crazy sometimes but ya know, I gotta be there for my lemon tart!! Lemon tarts are my favourite! ^^ Aside from the delicious food and casual dining experience at The Disgruntled Brasserie, The Club also houses B28, an underground whiskey bar that is tucked away at the basement. How cool?! Tagged the "home" of jazz, B28 has their resident jazz band, The Nicole Duffell Organ Trio that plays one of the most intoxicating tunes. No wonder this quaint little jazz bar has a full house every weekend! Had one of their whiskey blends by their skilled bartenders and it was indeed very tasty. Of course, a glass of whiskey is never enough, we went ahead to spend some time at the first Peruvian-inspired rooftop bar in Singapore (also housed in The Club), Tiger's Milk. Isn't the place stunning? Had to take a quick shot because I am obsessed with the decor. Tiger's Milk is definitely a more fun and relaxing place to chill with your mates after a long day.
Little overview of how the room looks like in the day, perfect for a staycation to unwind from all the bustle. Might I add, the view is pretty good especially in the night. ;) My favourite part of the room? This breathtaking bathroom. I know, this bathroom is anybody's dream. So many of you asked me where this was on Snapchat. Now you know, it is the bathroom of The Club's Suite! This is huge, spacious and just simply stunning. Told everyone that I can stay in this bathroom forever HAHA. I mean come on, imagine waking up to this and having breakfast by the tub? YAS! Good news huns, if you are planning a getaway or staycation, The Club is having a special package just for you. At just SGD288, you can now experience The Club's luxuries and celebrate your own anniversaries with a one night stay at The Club's King Room (free complimentary upgrade to The Club Suite), a congratulatory bottle of Proseco (yes to bubblies!) and a $50 voucher to dine at The Disgruntled Brasserie. From tasting the menu of their newly opened The Disgruntled Brasserie to enjoying jazz music at B28 and even sipping some fine cocktails while appreciating Singapore's skyline at Tiger's Milk... it was definitely the perfect way to end the night. Thank you The Club Singapore & Huntington Comms for having me, now I am still dreaming of that pretty bathroom. Haha! Thank you for reading loves &have an awesome one!
